overview
With Scrum being wildly adopted as the baseline for Agile knowledge, new graduates and job applicants are often faced with the necessary requirement to have practical working knowledge of Agile frameworks. In our 16 hour workshop, we take you through fictional product development, to apply the principles and values of Scrum, equipping you with confidence to integrate and add value with any application development team in the city
Chris Hoquis has been a partner with MITT, providing internship opportunities to developers and equipping them with knowledge of industry tools including but not limited to JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, and various product roadmap tools. Additionally, modern day development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban and SAFe have been essential to team cohesion and successes at Saber Blitz.
After establishing a brief baseline of Agile knowledge, we get right into a sequence of applied exercises, from developing team norms, customer persona development and conceptual planning to simulations of sprint planning, retrospectives and daily scrums! We also simulate blockers, to teach you how to address them in timely manners with your assigned team!
